We do not sell personal information. We may share data with trusted service providers that support hosting, analytics, moderation tooling, security, and customer support under contractual safeguards.

We may disclose information when legally required or when needed to protect users and the public from harm.

4. Data Retention

We retain account and usage data only as long as needed for product operations, safety, and legal compliance. When accounts are deleted, we remove or anonymize data according to our deletion schedule unless retention is required by law.

• Access, edit, or remove profile information in app settings.
• Adjust discoverability and notification preferences.
• Request account deletion via the in-app flow or at /delete-account.

6. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect data. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, but we continuously evaluate and improve our protections.

7. Children's Privacy

Yapper is not directed to children under the age required by applicable law. If we learn a child account was created in violation of policy, we will take appropriate action to remove that data.

8. Policy Updates

We may revise this Privacy Policy as our product and legal obligations evolve. Continued use of Yapper after updates means you accept the revised policy.
